Support Plus CD errors
Installed 11.0 and now trying to patch using the Support Plus CD and getting errors....
#swinstall -s four:/cdrom/XSWGR1100 -x match_target=true -x autoreboot=true
* Beginning Selection
* Target connection succeeded for "four:/".
* "four:/var/tmp/QPK1100_11.00.depot": This source is a tape
device.
* "four:/var/tmp/QPK1100_11.00.depot": Cannot open the logfile
on this target or source. Possibly the media is read-only or
there is a permission problem. Check the daemon logfile and
"/var/tmp/swagent.log" on this host for more information.
NOTE: The match operation failed to find software in the source that
matches software on the target.
NOTE: Cannot continue the "swinstall" task.

(without the "four:")

Hi Mike,
Since you are installing from a remote CD drive on remote system (four),log into that system and check if the local CD drive is properly mounted on /cdrom mount point.Just a thought.

I had the same problem with patches. Try installing the latest Software Distributor Cumulative patch PHCO_21492
