Supportability of PERL PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE OF VERSION 5.6 IN R380
Hi all,
IS it possible to install Perl Programming language 5.6 or above in an R380 server with HPUX 11.0.
I am able to list #swlist -s /cdrom, perl in application 4 cd of HPUX 11i,but while swinstall, it not showing.is it becase server is runnig 11.0 or server hardware is R380 ??
Pls advise,

swlist -l product | grep -i perl
That should show you what perl is installed.
It is totally possible to install perl on an 11.00 box and have it work properly.
Do remember, that in /usr/contrib/bin there is a version 4 perl(at least on my box). That, you don't want to use.
