SW-GETTOOLS
I'm looking to upgrade a 10.20 box to 11.x. I'm looking for information on where exactly to find SW-GETTOOLS on my 11.x cdroms. I believe I need to load this version of the 11.x SW-DIST to get started.

Re: SW-GETTOOLS
Hi:
A suggestion. Rather than attempt an upgrade, most people feel that a cold install of 11.x is far cleaner and less likely to fail. In part, this gives you the opportunity to resize filesystems and/or replace small boot disks with larger ones for subsequent growth.
There are a number of posts on this formum describing this approach. As a starting point for your consideration, see:

...and its links. Good luck.

You may also want to check out the upgrade/install instructions at:
http://www.docs.hp.com/hpux/onlinedocs/B2355-90679/B2355-90679.html
Here's an excerpt: "The instructions for using swgettools are in Updating SD-UX Before Installing/Updating Software, in this chapter."
Additionally: "Preparation: Loading swgettools
The swgettools utility is shipped in the catalog/SW-GETTOOLS/pfiles directory. Depending on whether the new software is on CD or a remote system in a software depot, use cp or rcp, respectively, to load swgettools onto your system. Skip to the section below for more examples and other options.
For example, to load swgettools from a local CD-ROM mounted at /SD_CDROM into /var/tmp, enter the following:
cp /SD_CDROM/catalog/SW-GETTOOLS/pfiles/swgettools /var/tmp"
