SWAP/DUMP change to SWAP only - HPUX11.0

I have configured my SWAP fs as a SWAP/DUMP when the OS was loaded.

Now I want to change this to a SWAP only fs and the DUMP to a directory.

I have updated the savecrash as follows:-

SAVECRASH=1
SAVECRASH_DIR=/dump

What other changes are required to ensure that the crashfiles are saved in the /dump directory and that the SWAP/DUMP file system is now seen as a SWAP only file system.

Hi,

I'm not sure that the dump device can be a directory. I'm pretty sure it must be a filesystem on the boot disk. Anyway, you need to run lvlnboot to set dump and swap devices. See the man page and the following link for more information:
