Swap space and logical volumes

I recieved an error when trying to restore data off of a tape, that told me to check my swap limitations. I was told that I must have a free logical volume. How can I check to see if I have a free Logical volume, and if I don't can I add one?

Hi,
The easiest way is to use sam/ disk and file systems...
It will show you unused logical volume and if you need to create one go to action create...
