Swcopy run with non-root user
Hi,
Working on HPIA 11.31 system
I have created packages with non-root user by specifying the "run_as_superuser=false" & "write_remote_files=true" (as writing on NFS).
Now the depots are being created on 2 different directories. I want to merge them onto a single location.
Is there any option to do it apart from swcopy?
While trying the swcopy with non-root user (have specified the write_remote_files & run_as_superuser), i get the below error:
ERROR:
":/a/Test":
An update to the installed product database or depot catalog
may have errors.
* The execution phase failed for
":/a/Test".
* Analysis and Execution had errors.
ERROR: More information may be found in the agent logfile (location
is
:/a/Test/swagent.log).
The swagent.log says:
ERROR: Internal error. Unexpected failure in file open, lstat,
chown, or chmod. Permission denied (13). This error occurred
in function "UTIL_RpcSetClientForLocalServer", source file
"r_client.c", line 994. Please give this information to your
Hewlett-Packard support contact.
Can somebody help me with this.
Thanks

Re: Swcopy run with non-root user
Update:
This all works gracefully when run by root.
What am i missing while running as non-root.

I only get that when I didn't use -x enforce_dependencies=false.

Re: Swcopy run with non-root user
I have all dependencies at the same location.
Hence, didn't face any dependency issue.
