SWINSALL on 9000 series 700 Workstn
I just upgraded my hp 9000 Series 705 workstation to hp/ux 10.10. I am now
trying to apply Y2k Patches, and I get this error:
ERROR: You have asked the system to do a task, 4, that is not
supported on this version of SD-UX. To process this request
on this machine, you must first install the HP OpenView
Software Distributor application. 11/29/99 10:00:20 MST
I did a reload recently and did not see any special SD-UX install routine?

Re: SWINSALL on 9000 series 700 Workstn
I would actually at least try and move to 10.20 before going any further.
There are many issues concerning this but the general concensus is that 10.20
is the way to go for any sort of Y2K safety.
Then again this is only my humble opinion.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
