swinstall coredump

What's happend on swinstall GUI?
When I selected some columns in swinstall GUI,
then the memory fault or bus error coredump!
How to fix this problem?

Try re-starting the swagent daemon and then
issue command swinstall.

Also check cdrom is available
ioscan -funC disk | grep "CDROM"

/sbin/init.d/swagentd -r

to restart the daemon.

SD-UX patches are another idea.

search for SD-UX

Make sure you are current, at least on the three stars. Check them as follows:

swlist -l product | grep -i PH##_#####

Are you using the native GUI or the Ascii one ?

I useing the GUI.
BTW, the machine is just installed. And the os version is 92/3, but the support plus was 91/6.
I'm sure the patch level is older problem. Does anyone has any other suggestions for this problem? Otherwise, I plan to re-install the machine within os version 92/3 and support plus also version 92/3.

I think a reinstall is pretty drastci without at least trying the suggestion offered by the other replies.

There is no need for reinstalling Core OS. The best thing would be to install the latest Support Plus.
and select match_target=true

that should be allright
