swinstall error

Hi,

I am trying to install gzip but receive this message

Could not start a management session for
"gzip-1.3.5-sd-11.11.depot[1]:/var/spool/sw" due to an internal
Remote Procedure Call binding failure. The calling routine is
"IC_SourceGet".

Running on HPUX 11.11

What is the command you've tried to execute?

This one?

#swinstall -i \* @/var/spool/sw

hi,

no idea about error.you can try by restarting the swagentd daemon.

/sbin/init.d/swagentd stop
/sbin/init.d/swagentd start


or

/usr/sbin/swagentd -r
