Hello All,
When I mark a certain patches to install, they only get partially selected. However, when I hit enter on that patch all the filesets of that patch are marked fully as "Yes".
Does this mean that the patch is only partially installed?
Any ideas as to why this inconsistency? Thanks in advance for all answers.
Regards,
Suren Selva

Re: Swinstall Matches Partially
Hi,
When you install the patches it checks for other related softwares installed on your machine. Each patch will install and update the files for other related softwares also.
Hence depending upon what is installed on your machine, only certain filesets of the pacthes will be installed.
Dont worry....the system will take care and after you install the patches, everything will work fine.

Re: Swinstall Matches Partially
Thanks to both of you for responding. I did not think that it mattered either. Just wanted to be sure.
