Swinstall problem!!
I'm trying to install a depot of hpvm_guest_depot, we made alot of test..
and now we cannot go over becouse when we type:
swinstall -s /tmp/sw/xxxxx.sd
we receive a swinstall window /see the attach)
where we can't install the dopt .. just Mark!!?
we did the swreg -l depot.. and some test with swcopy.. but we can't erase the "info" of the depot that you see in attach
do you have any suggestion?? thanks

Re: Swinstall problem!!
swinstall -s /tmp/fullpath.to.depot \*
See how that works.

Re: Swinstall problem!!
It says, nothing selected. Press Tab and press space bar. It will select the Depot. then press tab again, and navigate to actions. You should see the Install now.

Re: Swinstall problem!!
obviously the depot was selected... and in the action were the options that you see in attachment..
I find the same depot also if I just type:
swinstall
from any path..
so I would like to know if is possible to remove this depot from the sw env.
I had erase all depot in the file system but when I type swinstall is still there!!?
thanks

Re: Swinstall problem!!
use option -d for depot:
swremove -d @ /archiv/
See also 'man swremove'

Re: Swinstall problem!!
To unregister listed depots:
swreg -u -l
Tested - this works :-)
