Re: swinstall problem

Not sure what you are asking here. Specifying swinstall without any arguments will bring up the graphical or gui display where you can then specificy source and target.

If you want to specify source from command line use swinstall -s .

Re: swinstall problem

I've seen this before. Try stopping the swagentd and restarting.

# /sbin/init.d/swagentd stop
# /sbin/init.d/swagentd start

This happened to us when we changed the name of the box and swagentd was running.

Re: swinstall problem

Hi,

You mean there is a still a depot registered ? use swreg -u to unregister the depot.

Re: swinstall problem

Hi,

could it be possible you just have a problem with the display or terminal settings???

How do you access the machine? X-Window based (Reflection, Exceed), telnet via DOS box, ???

Bernhard
