swisntall root path problem
Hi there
I have packaged software to local depot different from /var/spool/sw...
When I try to install that software, and use default root path as /, I am
getting an error:
"Currently, there are no products on this source which are compatible with the
target. Therefore, no products are shown."
If I change the root path to any existing folders, it works fine, but do not
updates software database of couse.
Any ideas ???

Re: swisntall root path problem
You need to point the "Source Path" directly at your depot, not just the
directory it's in.
directory it's in.

Re: swisntall root path problem
The problem is with "Target path" not with the Source.
I do point the "Source Path" directly at my depot.
