Sybase database print statment using c programm

Hi all,
I am calling Sybase database store procedure using sybase db-library function from my C program. I am not able to get output of print statement which are use in sybase procedure.
I am using ansic c compiler for compiling my c program.
Can anybody tell me, IS there any change require at compilation of c program to get print statement of sybase procedure or some parameter setting require at database level ?
