After installing PHSS_22543 we are having trouble having Sybase 11.9.2 coming up. DBA's tell me that Sybase says PHSS-22543 has some problems.
Can I "roll-back" my system (HP-UX 11.00) and "uninstall" this patch?
Help is greatly appreciated.

Yes, you can remove a patch. All you need to do is invoke swremove, go down and find the patch in the list, select it, and then tell it to remove. It will put everything back the way it was before the patch, as long as you have not done anything to remove the information it needs to remove the patch and restore the appropriate filesets to how they were originally.

Re: Sybase fails after install of PHSS_22543
Patrick,
My concern about the swremove is how can I tell if any dependencies are being removed. Or do I also need to remove any dependencies for this patch.
