(e.g. /usr filesystem) I got this list using ll command.
lrwxrwxrwt 1 root sys 8 tmp -> /var/tmp
I want to redirect /usr/tmp to /tmp/tmp
Please advise. Thanks

Re: Symbolic Link
Oracle Applications use /usr/tmp which link to /var/tmp. When users export data from Oracle Applications to Excel sometimes the free space in /var/tmp is not enough causing an error. I want to redirect /usr/tmp to other filesystem which much free space.
Regards.

Re: Symbolic Link
so i see. i wonder what u may have set for /tmp/tmp cause it is never going to be enough if u do not do housekeeping for that mounted filesystem as well.
regards.
(p.s. please remember to assign points.)
