syslog.conf permissions

Would someone please advise what the 'correct' permissions are for the syslog.conf file?

Here are the permissions I have on my systems:

-r--r--r-- 1 bin bin 250 Nov 14 2000 /etc/syslog.conf

I do not customize the file, so this is the way it arrived from the factory.
