Re: syslog error message

Hi,

Looks like a memory problem. Check and see if there are more errors.

If you have cstm installed, try this,

echo 'selclass qualifier memory;info;wait;infolog' |cstm >/tmp/meminfo.txt

more meminfo.txt

If you see errors over there, open a hardware case with hp and get the memory module replaced.

Hope this helps.

Re: syslog error message

Hi Jim,

you are using a very old version of STM. You need to get a newer version, preferably the latest. you can do this on the fly. Installing STM newer version does not involve a reboot.

The latest version of STM is A44.00 or above for 11.0 and above,

Try this link for the latest version of STM from hp software depot site,

http://software.hp.com/portal/swdepot/displayProductInfo.do?productNumber=B6191AAE

Hope this helps.
