Syslog Error

Hi Folks,
In one of my system today I got some rrror messages on the syslog file which is related with inetd .Can some one throw some light what each error means.

Jun 27 05:34:08 gemini telnetd[22564]: Error checking child termination status
: error 4: Interrupted system call

Jun 27 05:38:44 gemini telnetd[6952]: recv: Connection reset by peer

May 29 15:14:42 gemini telnetd[14051]: getpid : peer died: Error 0

May 29 15:13:52 gemini rlogind[14047]: Login failure (exit(2) from login(1))

Hi,

Generally these messages are generated when an application or session has been terminated abnormally. An example could be where a user has turned off their PC without gracefully logging out. This can also happen from a client session through a port.
