Syslog
Hi -
We continue to log the following errors in the syslog. We are using DHCP on HPUX 11.0. We are not having any major problems related to this, although would be nice to get it cleaned up if possible. See below for message:
May 3 07:24:11 ma_apps4 bootpd[307]: could not add hardware address: 0060B0C9B960
May 3 07:22:54 ma_apps4 bootpd[307]: could not add hardware address: 0060B01D2DFD
May 3 07:25:06 ma_apps4 bootpd[307]: could not add hardware address: 0060B0D415C9
May 3 07:24:13 ma_apps4 bootpd[307]: could not add hardware address: 0060B0C9B960
May 3 07:25:06 ma_apps4 bootpd[307]: could not add hardware address: 0060B0D415C9
May 3 07:26:58 ma_apps4 bootpd[307]: could not add hardware address: 0030C18C8E29

Any help would be appreciated

Hi Chris,
these messages have no meaning and are confusing. HP has already opened a service request for this and there will be a patch released to eliminate these misleading messages.
As long as you don't see an impact on the system you can ignore the messages
