System cloned with recovery tape runs really slow ?

Hi *,

I've cloned an rp3410-2 (on 146GB disk, 2GB memory) with a recovery tape created on an identical platform.

OS are HP-UX 11.11 Patch Bundle December 2006, IgniteUX is C.6.10.97.

This is the unexpected behavior i face on the cloned machine :

FILE is an ascii file with ~50000 lines in it.

On the "master" machine, the commande 'timex cat FILE' delivers a user time output of 6 sec. Same command delivers 1mn30s on the "cloned" machine.

I'm puzzled !

Any hints ?

Shalom,

Check /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log
Clues there.

Check the ignite install log, there may be problems.

Use cstm/mstm or xstm to see if the hardware is in good shape.

Ok.

Nothing to do with IgniteUX... Just a problem with lan attachment speed
