System Console Locked/Disabled?

I have a 715 that doesn't display anything except for the 4 yellow boxes on the bottom of the screen when it is running (ie can't get to a login prompt). How do I change this so that I can login into the console?

Chris, this may seem like a silly answer and most likely won't help, but I'll post it anyway just in case. We have to hit enter (other keys would probably work as well) on one of our consoles before a login prompt comes up. The screen looks like you describe before that. Have you tried that?
