Re: system hang when boot from cd-rom

Any error messages displayed when it is trying to boot?

What type of CD drive do you have? Is it an external? The CD drive you have may not support booting the workstation.

Re: system hang when boot from cd-rom

Hi Press & hold the ESCAPE key while the work station boots up.

Come to BOOTADMIN from there . do a search from there . It should show all the available devices.

Now my qtn is what you wanna do from here ?. If you want to boot through the CDROM say,

boot "H/W PATH"

it should work .And which CD are you using to boot it up ?.

come back with more inputs , so that we can help you better.

Re: system hang when boot from cd-rom

The problem is my harddisk, when I change to a
new one, everything is ok.
