I work on a HP 712/100 Workstation. How can I find system information like which OS version I am running, what is the processor used etc from the console. Are there any GUI tools available to display the same. Also I wold like to know if there are any Media players and image viewers available to run on HPUX.
Thanks in advance,
Cheers,
Vivek

Re: system information
If you've got ignite installed (which is highly recommended) you can you use the /opt/ignite/print_mainfest command which will give all the info that you need about your server.
