system log

Hi,
Please explain the sentences in OLDsyslog.log file:
1. telnetd[8810]: getpid: peer died: Error 0
2. Apr 18 23:14:47 hpux sshd[28264]: Did not receive identification string from 86.104.37.59
3. Apr 19 02:47:31 hpux sshd[4066]: Failed password for root from 200.49.167.66 port 53931 ssh2

Hi Jiackizm,

I think its related to login in to system.ur using ssh for login .it seems that there is problem of authentication . In SSH it authanticate remote server & allows remote server to authanticate local sever by using public key encryption. It uses encryption in all communication with remote server during your login server
