Systems hangs with lots of open ftp sessions...

Hi, we are running a "N" series server running 11.00 and the whole system freezes now on a weekly bases. But it seem just to be the communications protocol that is freezing. We can not ping it we can not telnet to it, we cant even get it to reconize the console. Is there a issue with open ftp sessions that I can find some information on it.

How current are you with Patches?

Have you changed the Kernel Configuration? If not, then I would recommend starting with the Monolithic Server for a Good Starting Point.

Check on your current patch level, the current GR bundle is the Sep 2000 or heres a link to the latest ftp patch

No when we rececived the box they us that everything was ready to go from a 3rd party vendor. Which I never trust. is there a maxtcp flag in the kernel that I can tweak?
