Systems Inventory Manager Installation problems

I have installed SIM on my HP K class machine. I have installed one test client for it , however, I am not able to add the client from SIM gui. It gives failed tro add node.
Please help on this.

Hi pap,

I "think" SIMS uses r commands for access. Are you able to rlogin both ways between client and server?
