T1428AA.depot failed installation

I have donwloaded the aaa server form software.hp.com. I want to install that on hp-ux 11.11 but I see that is a problem:

/aaa/T1428AA.depot: This doesn't look like a tar archive.
/aaa/T1428AA.depot: Skipping to next file...
software item "AAA-ENG-C-MAN" not found in tape depot. This might indicate the depot is corrupt. This error ocurred in function "idam_ LoadTapeItems", source file id_ser.c, line 3880. Please give this information to hewlett-packard support contact

Does anybody know something about this?

Hi,

Looks like the software depot file is corrupted already. You need to run the checksum, to check whether you have a completed software or not.

It's better you try to re-download the software again.

Please also check the requirement for this software as stated at this url below :

I have taken this section form swagent.log file after I try to install java sdk (includes rte) with reinstall options true. I download it form the hp web site.

directory checksum error !

redownload the depot and be shure to check the checksum.

ftp it in binary mode to your hpux server.

before you install

check with the cksum command if you have the same checksum as from the source download page.
