Tape To Tape Copy

Whats the proceedure used to copy files from a
9track tape to a super DLT tape ?

The standard tool for tape copying is "dd". You can find out more from "man dd".

This command can do some rudimentary blocking/deblocking ascii/ebcdic conversion, but if your input tape was created by a cobol program for instance, it could have tape volume headers and such.
