Taple library on HP-UX

Dears,

Three days I'm traying to configure my MSL 6000 tape library on HP-UX 11.11, using cveritas netbackup server 5.0.
every thing is going fine, the only problem is when trying to execute the robot,I face this error:
unable to initialize robot (204).
can any one help on this ?

please check your driver for exchanger ( schgr ) already inclued at your system or not.

Thanks for your replay,

In the kernel ihave stape, and schgr have driver and showing IN IN.
the netbackup when performing scan it found 1 tape and 1 robot.
problem only when trying to inventory robot it give the error :inventor failed: unable to initialize robot (204).
for your info the library is connected through scsi direct attached not through SAN.

try command mc. if you can move your robotic with this command, i think your tape it's ok
look man mc for detail command

mc command not able to move the robot, I have downloaded the firmware new version, can some one help on how to upgarde the firmware for this library ?

do u have 2 ways:
1. mstm
2. LTT software.

depend on your file format.

But i think, you must log to HP support to troubleshooting about that. i think firmware not the best solution. maybe wrong cable configuration or terminator problem.
