tar error block size changed

Hello colleagues,
I got this error on HP UX 11i.
For sure my scripts do something wrong, maybe they perform different actions on the same archive in the same time, but how can I understand which is the error cause?

They are files copied to a remote machine and there "tar xvf" .....

How are you copying the files??

Is the file size same on both the target and the source??

The problem derives from an incomplete remote copy of the archive.
