Tar
Hi guys,
I have a 40 GB file to backup with "tar" and I can't do this, because "tar" just backup 2 GB files. I am using HP-UX 11.22 (Itanium Server)
How can I backup this file using command tar?
Regards,
Marcia

Re: Tar
Hi Marcia,
You can try using the gtar, the 11.20 version has also been tested for 11.22.
http://hpux.connect.org.uk/hppd/hpux/Gnu/tar-1.13.25/
or use fbackup.
Hope it helps,
Rbert-Jan.
