td driver not installed on host after 11.00 install

td driver not installed on host after 11.00 install


Hi,

I installed 11.00 Dec 02 on host (K-Class). The
host has 2 6685A hba attached and the td (6685a.depot) driver installed. When i ls /dev i cannot see the driver instances of that hba.

How can i fix this problem ?

Hi Eddie,

Does an

ioscan -fn > ioscan.out
or
ioscan -fnC fc

return anything for these devices?
I'm wondering that since the media is alomost a year old, you may have them named differently - i.e. not /dev/tdX
If so, you'll need to patch up the system to a more current level - probably with the HWE (HW Enablement) bundles, but might as well go with the GOLDQPKs as well.

does swlist return a line that looks anything like this:

PCI/HSC FibreChannel;Supptd HW=A6684A,A6685A,A5158A,A6795A


If not, you will need patch PHKL_23939
