All I know is that it is something to do with Tivoli and might be someting you want to leave alone.
Never preceed any demonstration with anything more predictive than "watch this"

Hi,

As far as I can remember, 2 years ago we used Tivoli Enterprise Console ( TEC ) to monitor our machines, and think that there was some file called "tecad_logfile".
Maybe you have installed that software.
But not sure, only an idea. Or maybe you are looking for a more precise answer.
