telnet and console hang
I had a problem with N4000 11.11 server,
suddenly telnet sessions hangs.
Trying....
Connected to server
Escape character is '^]'
In the console I only can use GSP, so
I did a TC but the server cannot boot
because it cannot reach the boot disk
ENTRY_INIT
Status=-7
After this i just can power off and on
the server and it works.
This is happening for four times in the
last week.
Any idea?
Thanks,
Luis

Check doc UXDNKBRC00001016
http://us-support.external.hp.com/emse/bin/doc.pl/sid=f8d055b805c933fee0/distrib_redir=0+1022794812|*?rn=25&searchcategory=ALL&todo=search&x=18&searchtype=SEARCH_TECH_DOCS&y=10&searchcriteria=allwords&searchtext=UXDNKBRC00001016&presort=rank
Click on "How to fix ENTRY_INIT boot Failures"
It has all ENTRY_INIT code and what they meant and also troubleshooting tips for this kind of error. Hope it helps ..

Re: telnet and console hang
Hi,
Looks like your primary boot path is not set correctly on the server. While booting the server namually are you using bo pri or you are using the path to the boot disk with the bo command.
Hope this helps.
