Telnet and Rlogin
Hi gurus....
I have a E35 box with 10.20 installed.
The E35 users make arlogin to a D270 (10.20 too). After the rlogin the navigations keys dont works anymore into him session.
But if user make a Telnet instead rlogin all keys work!
Why????
Any tips?

Re: Telnet and Rlogin
Navigation keys sound like a terminal interface. This is likely a failure to set the TERM variable correctly. Use the command:
echo $TERM
when logging in using rlogin and then telnet. The TERM value can be automatically set using ttytype in /etc/profile or in the user's .profile. And all of this assumes that Xwindows is not part of the connection. If it is, then more details will be needed to resolve the problems.

Re: Telnet and Rlogin
Bill,
into /etc/profile has export TERM variable in both machines.
The problem is in rlogin. In telnet all works fine.
