When I try to telnet into one of my servers.
Here is what happends.
Trying...
Connected to possvr.
Escape character is '^]'.
Local flow control off
Connection closed by foreign host.

What does this mean and how do I fix it ??

Solutionif this is true
then check for errors in syslogs and console for ptys/strptys.
if you find them then increase the pty nos thru sam, this is a kernel parameter that can be increased to provide more telnet access.

The above posting may be correct because there may be more connections at the moment or it may be something as simple as a full filesystem.
