telnet
Hello everyone,
this is my first message here. i'm glad, i've finally found this place.
when i ping pc from the server, it pings without any problem.
when i ping the server from a pc - it does not: "request timed out" it says.
once, i succeeded connecting to server from pc, via telnet.
where's the problem?
regards,
mariusz grabowski

Re: telnet
Hi,
Pls check whether you have specified the default gateway.
check with "netstat -nr" command.
if not add it using (route add default gw)

Re: telnet
new case is, that
i can ping the server for a short time, about 4-5 packets, or login for a short
time. after that, pinging hangs with "request timed out", and if I did logon,
telnet hangs.

Re: telnet
Check and see if you have duplicate IP addresses on the network.
