telnetd/d6p03 unlinked and recreated

Hi everybody,

i am getting a lot of messages in the syslog.log like:
Jun 19 11:20:22 hpk2202 telnetd[14665]: telnetd/d6p03 unlinked and recreated
The message is repeating very often (1/2 minutes a time)
What does this message mean and how can i fix the problem. I think it has do to with DTC's.

Thanks

Andrew

Andreas,

This must be a hard nut, after you contributed so many good answers to the forum.

Just to get an idea about the configuration: I assume the device in the error message belongs to a DTC using DDFA, right?
Did you reboot the server (where you getting the messages in the syslog) with open telnet connections to the DTC port? In that case I would recommend to delete the device file and recreate it.
There is no good troubleshooting with bad data
