telnetd error

Hi Gurus,

Please I have a problem with my HP-UX 11i system. When I telnet to the server I get this message telnetd: telnet device drivers missing: not owner
May I know what the problem is. Kindly assist me in resolving the issue.

Do you have device files in

/dev/pty
/dev/pts

If not,

# insf -e -d pts -s 400
# insf -e -d pty -n 400

[Arunvijai_4]

# rm /dev/pty/*
# rm /dev/pts/*
# insf -e
# cd /dev
# insf -d telm
# insf -d tels
