terminal is not connected

I have been unable to access T520 for the last two days. I receive a message which states, "The terminal is not connected".
Please tell me what happen?

Where are you receiving this message?

have you tried to use the SEArch option and enter in that "error" string?

Is this the console or a LAN connection such as telnet? Where does the terminal not connected message show up? What kind of terminal are you using?
