Hello,
I 'd like to transition my applications from
an HP_UX server 9000/800/L2000-44 running hp-ux 11.00 to an ITANIUM HP-UX running hp-ux 11.23.
I' m using STK tools kit to scan the porting impact . just two questions:
1) is it sufficient install the kit on my itanium and run it to have all impacts on my itanium ? have i to specify particular option?
2)many my applications depend from other ones ..have i to run tools earlier on these ones ?

Re: The HP-UX Software Transition Kit (STK)
Outside of this tool, only you know the interdependent relationships between your applications.
I recommend you develop a test plan that fully tests your applications after the port. My assumption here is that you have new hardware for the port.
That assumption being correct, you can port and convert the applications and then do integrated testing in a non-production environment. You should take your time and be thorough.
