The lvm processes are consuming a lot of cpu
When I launch the top command, I see that each lvm process named lvmkd is consuming almost 65% of cpu (there are six lvmkd processes). The hp-ux box spend more than 80% in system mode and the performance is very bad.
We've got an N4000 box with 6 processors. Any help will be appreciated.
Regards,
Augusto

Re: The lvm processes are consuming a lot of cpu
Collect performance data with the script I am attaching.
Go to itrc.hp.com
run a patch analysis or get the lastest lvm patches.
