Re: The specified path does not correspond to physical volume attached to volume group
This shows there are two disks in your root vg & one of them is not responding i.e. (dev/disk/disk9_p2)There could a disk failure. in rx6600 SAS disks are installed.
Just check for ioscan -fnC disk confirm that all the disks are showing claimed. you can map the path (/dev/dsk/cxtxdx) using ioscan -m dsf command. Incase of disk failure please call up HP for replacing the disk.
Regards.

Re: The specified path does not correspond to physical volume attached to volume group
I would like to remove /dev/disk/disk9_p2 disk permanently. Please let me know how can I do the same so that it should not appear in the /etc/lvmtab and vgdisplay output.
Thanks

Re: The specified path does not correspond to physical volume attached to volume group
The link says "Document missing or moved"
As per below mentioned above, I think the boot disk is mirrored. Can I remove the faulty one (/dev/disk/disk9_p2)?
Thanks

Re: The specified path does not correspond to physical volume attached to volume group
what does it mean, can you shed me some light ?
what error did you received ?
removing that disk, you will lose (1 disk from your vg00 operating disk, better do under single user mode,
do you have another disk bootable "/dev/disk/disk14_p2"
