The /stand/vmunix is in OS version 11.11 when I use recovery shell to restore the lost kernel
My ignite_ux version is 3.3.116(OS 11.00).
After I remove the /stand/vmunix for test purpose, I use the recovery shell to rebuild the kernel(use "bo lan install"). But when the system reboots, it comes to version 11.11("uname -a" reports).
Does anyone know the the internals of how the ignite_ux bulid the kernel in order to avoid the mentioned case?
Thanks,
jane

Is your boot server giving it an 11.11 kernel?
Do you have this:

Thanks, harry
My boot server give the client a 11.11 kernel, but what expected is 11.00 because the server OS is 11.00.
I download the ignite document but found little help.
Could you give me more advice?
Thanks a lot.
