Re: the virtual server is halted

Hi,
Please check logs of both Your actual Server and Vertual Server.
May be you get some reason.

Re: the virtual server is halted

Hi,

You may need to look in the view of os perspective not from the vpars. If system has halted automatically, there should be some entry in /etc/shutdownlog.

Check if any ts99 files generated under /var/tombstones directory. If system halted due to hardware issue then ts99 file should have been created with that timestamp.

Check if you have any crash dump directory under /var/adm/crash. If system paniced due to software issues then there will be dump directory under here. You can ask hp to analyse dump files or even you can get some details from dump files

You can also check syslog.log and console logs.
Best wishes,

Ganesh.
