Throughput of XP-256

I copy one fs and with find . -xdev |cpio, and then the Throughput is 5 MB/s,
any ideas about the Throughput of XP-256 can be reach.

Hi,

Throughput depends a lot on your buffer cache, filesystem type used as well as filesystem settings such as block size and fragment size. And it varies under different system load.

It would be best to compare the difference in throughput between a filesystem residing on a local disk vs a filesystem residing on an XP256 disk within an identical testing environment, ie. same filesystem type, block sizes, system load etc.

Thanks, but the throughput of disks XP-256, should be more than another architecture, you know any paper with nominal values.
