Timeouts on lan

Hello,
i get regulary following messages in syslog.log:

vmunix: btlan6: NOTE: MII Link Status Not OK - Check Cable Connection to Hub/Switch at 0/3/0/0
cmcld: lan1 failed
cmcld: Subnet 192.1.1.0 down
vmunix: btlan6: Reset looper timeout: DMA timeout occurred
vmunix: btlan6: reset state is 550 at 0/3/0/0
vmunix: btlan6: WARNING: AUI Loopback Failed at 0/3/0/0
vmunix: btlan6: reset state is 575 at 0/3/0/0
vmunix: btlan6: WARNING: BNC Loopback Failed at 0/3/0/0
cmcld: lan1 recovered
vmunix: btlan6: Reset looper timeout: DMA timeout occurred
cmcld: Subnet 192.1.1.0 up

It's on a two nodes MCSG Cluster running HPUX 11.00. This network interface is the current heartbeat link.

How can i avoid this messages?
