Timestamp incorrect after ftp to Windows NT
I ftp'ed a file from HP-UX 11 to Windows NT 4.0 . The file's timestamp on HP-UX was 10:00 AM. The ftp session showed the file on NT had a timestamp of 3:00 PM. From the Windows network, it showed it as 10:00 AM. Why did the HP-UX ftp session give an incorrect timestamp on the NT system?

Re: Timestamp incorrect after ftp to Windows NT
Just a guess, but are you on the East coast? If so, then you would be 5 hours behind GMT. When it's 10 AM where you are, it's 3 PM in Greenwich, England. I would suspect that your FTP client was translating whatever timestamp it got from the NT system to GMT.
