tips and pitfalls for setting up ldap for user authentication

Hello
I have been asked to start working on ldap for user authentication. I was wondering if any one had any tips and pit falls to look for on getting this set up. So far I have downloaded the Netscape directory sever. And reading the docs on where to go from there. But now I am asking on other peoples experience and pitfalls so I know what to look for.

Thanks
Richard

Ok,a lot of docs on doc.hp.com,some are nice:
http://docs.hp.com/hpux/onlinedocs/internet/intpaper.pdf

This is a nice paper on Win2k - LDAP/HP-UX
integration:
http://docs.hp.com/hpux/onlinedocs/internet/ADSLDUX.pdf
As far as I know you should use HP LDAP-NIS gateway as a sort of LDAP slave with Directory Server (of Netscape) and do some modifications to the schema.Usual HP-UX LDAP clients should be no problem as this is a matter of software installation + configs.
As to Win2k + AD with HP-UX + Ldap things are bit harder,I heard it requires some "unix-services-SFU" product from Microsoft to be installed on AD...

A paper that specifically covers tips and pitfalls is located at:

http://docs.hp.com/hpux/onlinedocs/internet/ldap_integration.pdf

I'd look at all the white papers at:
